General conditions for accommodations
Terms of Use
On the visit of the BnBXL.com website and the use of information (including the booking process and the offer on BnBXL.com), the following conditions apply. BnBXL.com is part of the Dutch company Amphebia, thus subject to Dutch law. BnBXL.com has the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice.
Prices
The prices shown are per accommodation and based on private transport. These prices are always for one or several nights, and this is clearly stated in the price. The maximum number of persons that may reside within a accommodation may vary. This is also shown in the price, as well as whether the stay includes or excludes breakfast. All prices are subject to typographical errors and interim changes.
Additional charges and surcharges
BnBXL.com doesn't charge no booking fees or commissions at the moment. Only (optional) extras will be charged. Should this change in the future, you will be informed.
For a cancellation we advise the customer to contact his / her insurer. Unfortunately it is not (yet) possible for BnBXL.com to offer cancellation insurance.
In most accommodations tourist tax is charged. These costs may vary by country or municipality and are always per person per night.
To book for special needs (e.g. additional beds, bicycle) we recommend the customer to directly contact the accommodation after booking is placed. Accommodations may charge extra for these special requests.
Reservation
After booking, the customer is sent an e-mail with the reservation request. The reservation is not yet approved; the accommodation must first approve the booking. Once this is done, the customer receives a final confirmation by email. It contains all information of the booking. From this moment the reservation is approved and the customer is expected at the accommodation on the startdate of the reservation.
Payment information
Payment is always upon arrival at your accommodation, at the arrival date of the booking. The total amount (excluding any special requirements) that the customer must pay is indicated on the final confirmation of the reservation.
Not available
Unfortunately, it may happen that the stay of choice is already fully booked. This is possible because most accommodations also accept reservations by other means. It is the responsibility of the property to keep the availability up-to-date. In the unlikely event that an accommodation is fully booked, there may be an alternative stay at the same accommodation available. Obviously the customer is not obliged to use this alternative to actually book.
Cancellations
If the customer wishes to cancel, cancellation fees can be calculated by the accommodation. Whether or not to charge a cancellation fee, is entirely up to the accommodation, en the costs should be charged to the customer directly. Amount of these costs is calculated as follows:

- If canceled up to 5 days before arrival date 75%,
- If canceled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 90%, and on the day of arrival 100%.
